Position Title:  Business Assistant


Location: City, London


IDEAcarbon is looking for an outstanding candidate to join us ASAP for an initial three month period, with the possibility of becoming permanent to support the CEO of IDEAcarbon and The Carbon Ratings Agency, to help promote its products, contribute to the development of the strategic relationships.

> Organise and coordinate the day-today-activities of the team and maintain the work in progress (WIP) list i.e. meeting clients, managing external relationships, follow ups

> Manage CEO's diary.

> Support CEO and other staff in business meetings with existing and prospective clients. Take meeting notes.

> Help to develop new partnerships relevant for IDEAcarbon and The CRA’s business.  Exposure to high growth Company working on new and exciting initiatives in carbon markets.

> Produce PowerPoint presentations and other Microsoft Office based materials for use by Directors.

> Ad hoc research tasks in the area of climate policy and carbon markets. 



We are looking for candidates with:


>A degree in business, economics, environment or science related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

>Good business development skills that can be demonstrated from a post degree internship or degree placement

>Interest in climate policy, energy and carbon markets desirable.

> Good communications skills, both written and spoken in English.

>Excellent planning and organisation skills.

> Actively seeks to create and/or improve processes using previous experience in a constructive way.

> Patience and perseverance to ensure positive changes are made within the company.

> High level of self-motivation, proactive, flexibility and ability to work in a team.

> Flexible attitude and approach to changing requirements and priorities.

 > Computer skills and ability to work in Excel, Powerpoint and other programmes.
